Terms and Conditions
1. Organizer Identity
Legal entity: AYUDA Y SERVICIO ASOCIACION CIVIL, located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. RFC: ASE8707065B7. Contact: finance@fearlessmasculinity.com
2. Third-Party Platforms
Ticket sales are conducted through RegFox; payments are processed via Stripe. Fearless Congress does not store banking information or credit card data.
3. Registration & Ticket Purchase
Users must provide accurate and complete information. Once payment is confirmed, the ticket will be sent via email. Purchases are final and non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise. Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless the organizer provides written authorization.
4. Event Changes
By purchasing any ticket (in-person or virtual), the attendee acknowledges and accepts that the organizer reserves the right to modify, without prior notice, the speakers, presenters, schedules, program order, conference content, venue location within the premises, and any other logistical or content-related aspect of the event. Such modifications do not entitle the attendee to a refund, ticket exchange, or compensation of any kind. In particular, the cancellation, substitution, or absence of one or more speakers or presenters — for any reason — does not constitute grounds for a refund or compensation, as the ticket grants access to the event as a whole and not to the participation of any specific speaker. The programming published on the website and promotional materials is indicative and does not constitute a contractual obligation.
5. Force Majeure
The organizer shall not be liable for the total or partial cancellation, suspension, or modification of the event due to force majeure or fortuitous events, including but not limited to: natural disasters, health emergencies, pandemics, government actions, social conflicts, technical failures beyond the organizer's control, or any other unforeseeable and unavoidable event. In the event of total cancellation due to force majeure, the organizer will determine at its discretion whether a partial refund, credit for future events, or access to equivalent virtual content is appropriate.
6. Limitation of Liability
The organizer, its directors, employees, volunteers, and collaborators shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from attendance at the event or use of the virtual ticket, including but not limited to: personal injury, loss or damage to personal belongings, technical failures in the livestream transmission, service interruptions, or the quality of the user's internet connection. The organizer's maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the value of the ticket purchased.
7. Assumption of Risk
In-person attendees voluntarily assume all risks inherent to participating in a large-scale event, including exposure to crowds, weather conditions, and any risks associated with the venue. The attendee declares that they attend at their own risk and maintain sufficient medical or insurance coverage if needed.
8. Virtual Ticket — Specific Terms
The virtual ticket grants access to the live stream during the event days and to the replay of each day within the published access window. The organizer does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the streaming service, which depends on technical factors and third-party providers. No refunds will be granted for connectivity issues attributable to the user. The transmitted content is the property of the organizer; recording, reproduction, distribution, or retransmission, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without written authorization. The virtual ticket is personal, non-transferable, and linked to the email address provided at purchase.
9. Intellectual Property and Recording Prohibition
All content presented during the event — including lectures, talks, panels, audiovisual material, music, presentations, and any other material — is the exclusive property of the organizer and/or the speakers, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. It is strictly prohibited to record, photograph, transmit, reproduce, or distribute, in whole or in part, any event content by any means (audio, video, photography, streaming, screenshots, or any other method), whether for personal or commercial use, without prior written authorization from the organizer. Violation of this prohibition entitles the organizer to remove the attendee from the event without right to a refund, and to pursue all applicable legal actions under copyright and intellectual property law. The organizer reserves the right to capture photographs, video, and audio during the event for promotional, educational, and outreach purposes. If the attendee does not wish to appear in such material, they must notify admin@fearlessmasculinity.com in writing before the event begins.
10. Code of Conduct
The organizer reserves the right to deny entry to or remove from the event any person whose conduct is inappropriate, disrespectful, dangerous, or contrary to the values of the event, without right to a refund.
11. Age Requirement
The event is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. Minors will not be admitted.
12. Communication Channels
The user authorizes Fearless Congress to communicate via automated chatbot, WhatsApp Business, and email for event-related matters.
13. Modifications to these Terms
The organizer may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be the one published at fearlessmasculinity.com. Continued use of the ticket or attendance at the event implies acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States, including the Federal Consumer Protection Law (PROFECO) and applicable civil and commercial legislation. For international attendees, these terms also incorporate generally recognized international consumer protection principles. Any dispute shall be resolved before the competent courts of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, with the parties waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
15. Acceptance
By purchasing an in-person or virtual ticket, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, as well as the Privacy Notice. The purchase of the ticket constitutes express and unequivocal acceptance thereof.
